Video: The Chestnut Trail of Foiana

The entrance to the Ultimo Valley is home to the village of Foiana. Located at an altitude of 700 m and surrounded by orchards and chestnut groves, this picturesque town presents its best side during autumn. Some years ago, an educational trail has been opened here. The trail focuses on chestnuts and the easygoing 2 km long walk winds through the chestnut groves of the surrounding area. In total, 10 stations are offering all kinds of information concerning chestnut trees and the valuable nuts they produce. The trail is an optimal destination for adults and children
