The Stone Cairns - a mystique place in the Sarentino Alps. More than 100 cairns line up like a troop of soldiers around the weather cross on the ridge of Mt. Risco at around 2,000 m a.s.l. The history and meaning of this legendary power place is not entirely clear. It could be a Celtic cult site or even a place for witches’ dances… or shepherds built the cairns just to pass the time
