Gomion is located between San Leonardo and Moso and belongs to the municipality of San Leonardo in Passiria. The village has got some 110 inhabitants, its main attraction is the Gomion Shield Farm, one of the ancient typical farmsteads of the Val Passiria.

Also worthwhile is the Maria Lourdes church dating back to 1891 with a wooden Madonna sculpture of Ortisei in Val Gardena. This church is located opposite the Gomion Shield Farm.
