At the end of the artificial Lake Zoccolo, there is the village of Pracupola. In the former elementary school, as well as in the middle school, there is the so-called Winter School. Ancient handicraft is taught, the work with natural materials is promoted. Wood, textile as well as dairy processing and health care are the main topics that are deepened in this special school.
The ‘Val d'Ultimo Lamb Weeks' take place every year in autumn. Everything revolves around sheep during these days. Wool and home-made felt products are on sale at the Pracupola market and tasty lamb dishes are served in the restaurants and inns in the villages. The construction method of the Paarhöfe is still alive in Pracupola. The shingles on the roofs, weighted down with stones, and the flower-decorated wooden fronts of the houses exude a very special charm and attract attention even today.
