At the end of the artificial lake Zoggler, there is the village of Pracupola. In the former elementary school, as well as in the middle school, there is the so-called „winter school“. Ancient handicraft is taught, the work with natural materials is promoted. Wood, textile as well as dairy processing and health care are the main topics that are deepened in this special school.
A special week, not only for gourmets, are the lamb weeks of the Val d’Ultimo. In these weeks you cannot only taste delicious lamb dishes, but also acquire home-made felt products on the market in Pracupola. Still today the block construction method of the pair farms is in use. The shingles on the roofs are weight down with stones, the wooden facades of the buildings convey a very special atmosphere to the village.
