San Felice in Alta Val di Non is located in idyllic position in the heart of a larch forest, at 1,265 m a.s.l. San Felice can be reached from Lana via the Passo delle Palade. Worthwhile is not only the unique alpine flora, but also the village itself has got much to offer, such as the Gothic church in the centre as well as the smaller chapels round San Felice. One of the most popular excursion destinations is the S. Cristoforo Church. Adorned by precious frescoes, this place conveys a very special atmosphere and tranquillity. The exact origins of this chapel are unknown, but already in 1476 it was referred to as an "ancient sanctuary“.
Also nature provides a wide range of excursion destinations, such as the pond of San Felice (Tretsee) or the waterfall of San Felice. And after an extended walk, we recommend you to stop at one of the farms to taste a delicious afternoon snack with bacon and home-made cheese.
