Grissiano is located in the south of Prissiano and is composed of some houses and farmsteads, e.g. the Schmiedlhof farm dating back to the 14th century, as well as the local fire station. What is worth visiting is the St Jacob church (922 m a.s.l.), consecrated in 1142, which is famous for the first illustration of the Dolomites. Of great interest are also the frescoes on the exterior façade, dating back to the 12th century and 14th century, as well as the statue of Jesus Christ, that is flanked by the Madonna and John Baptist.

Grissiano is also a great place for walks: the St Jacob Church can be reached on the reflection path of the Seven Sacraments in 20 minutes. Also the walk from Grissiano to St Apollonia, a beautiful chapel on a hill near Sirmiano, takes past the St Jacob Church. Another trail snaking through the forests connects the village to Prissiano and also Caprile can be reached on foot. In the close surroundings of Grissiano, however, there are the ruins of Holz Castle, mentioned for the first time in 1236.
