Riomolino extends on the left Adige riverside at an altitude of 320 to 350 m a.s.l. This village has become the centre of Lagundo and boasts one of the most striking and beautiful sacred buildings of the entire Alpine area, which is the new parish church of Lagundo, dedicated to S. Giuseppe. This church, by the way highly symbolic, has been planned by the architect Dr. Willi Gutweniger and built in the years 1966 - 1971.
A hike that is also ideal for a family getaway is the mountain walk from Riomolino to Plars di Mezzo and via Plars di Sopra to Velloi, for the way back we recommend you to take the chairlift. By the way, also the city of Merano can easily be reached on foot.
