Plars di Sopra, part of the municipality of Lagundo, extends from 390 to 550 m a.s.l. Characteristic for this village are its location on a hillside, surrounded by orchards and vineyards. Particularly striking is also the location of the S. Ulrico parish church, which is in a way lined with grapevines. Dating back to the late Gothic period, this church was first mentioned in 1493, but is in fact believed to be much more ancient. It is open to the public daily from 8 am to 6 pm.
Plars di Sopra is the starting point of the 6 km long Lagundo Waalweg path (Roggia di Lagundo), snaking to Plars di Mezzo and further on the Quarazze. This trail is by the way also walkable with kids. Also on foot you can reach Plars Castle that once used to be called "Mairhof zu Torkel in Plaris".
