A characteristic village in close touch with nature, this is what you come across at the head of Val Passiria. Plan is not only the name of this village, but also of its snow-sure skiing area, extending at the foot of the Altissima mountain. More than a picturesque location. Demanding and moderate skiers, this is where every member of the family finds an adequate slope. Family, that's the key word in this skiing area, as children aged up to 8 ski for free at Plan. Great, isn't it?
Regarding lift facilities, there are two ski lifts for beginners, a modern combined funicular-chairlift, both equipped with heating. Moreover there is a four-seat chair lift with weather cover and heated seats. Certified ski instructors will give you a lending hand when making the fist passes on snow or provide tips in order to refine your skiing techinque. Those who love cross-country skiing can exercise along the the 12 km long Lazinsertal or the 3 km long Innerhütt trail. The latter is illuminated on some days, which makes nighttime cross-country skiing possible.
The snowpark is equipped with Kink Box, Mail Box, Kink Rail and various other elements. And in case one day you prefer other activities, you can try curling, playing broomball or ice skating with disco music at the ice rink of Plan. The little ones particularly enjoy the hill for beginners and playing in the ski kindergarden. Of course there is also a toboggan run for adults, and this is also where World Cup Races take place. Evening get-tegethers, ski school meetings and torchlight walks complete the offer. A fairytale-like winter landscape expects you!
