For scaling this summit, you need to be experienced and sure-footed, as there is also a short climbing passage.
The trail n°11 starts above Pracupola at the Steinrast pasture (1,728 m a.s.l.), snakes to the Malga Pracupola (1,970 m), from where a trail (11A) takes you to the summit in about 4.5 hours. Along the path, there is Lago Quaira, an artificial lake in the mountains, as well as the Passo di Laces (2,507 m), marked by a pillar, a former construction of stone and wood, which served for the water supply of the Val Venosta.
The trail n°2 takes you along the north east ridge on rocky terrain. The passage with securing rope is located above 3,000 m and is easy for those who are experienced mountaineers. Only a short way is left to the summit of the Orecchia di Lepre (3,257 m). By the way, weather changes very fast on this mountain. Enjoy the great view on the Val Venosta!
