In Foiana the popular Chestnut Adventure Trail gives information about the nutty fruit
While the long Chestnut Trail proceeds through the Valle Isarco valley, across the Renon until the Oltradige and via the Val Gardena valley back to Bressanone in several daily stages, the Burgraviato has its own adventure trail. The Chestnut Adventure Trail in Foiana is a 2 km long circular path, which gives interesting information about the sweet chestnut.
Wooden sculptures, information boards, experiments and movement are a perfect combination to spend some interesting hours together. The trail is accessible from the parking space in the village centre of Foiana. After 400 m the first information board is visible.
