Description
What connects or distinguishes the Siegen region and the Merano region? Is it perhaps the cable car, the rural-urban space, the market square, or the stories of the residents? What things, thoughts, ideas, photos, or traditions do we bring with us and intertwine on site to create an artistic work?
The team from the Department of Art in Public Space & Cultural Education at the University of Siegen (Johanna Schwarz, Alexandra-Joy Jaeckel, Stefanie Klingemann, and Samuel Treindl) and about 20 students are working in Lana. The results of the study stay will be visible in the public space. The center of the student action is a construction container located in the town square. From there, the students flow through the streets of Lana and come into direct contact with the local community during their artistic work.
