Description

Find out how a farm can be completely self-sufficient and sustainable at the same time!
Walter opens the doors of his organic farm to you and talks passionately about his farming activities. He describes his philosophy, the self-sufficient concept of the farm and the clever combination of his mainstays: these range from farm vacations and the production of green energy to South Tyrolean mountain meadow hay. Learn all about organic mountain meadow hay, from harvesting to its versatile use as cushions, hay beds, wallpaper, lampshades, flooring, liqueur and even gin.
After the farm tour, you can make your own hay cushion as a “hay light” and taste the farm's own products.

Walking time: approx. 2.5 h | Difference in altitude: approx. 260 m

The event will be in German and Italian.
